Bankruptcy & Financial

You will have an initial consultation with your attorney. We offer a free consultation to discuss your specific financial situation. The consultation usually takes about an hour and a half. You will be provided with some basic worksheets prior to your appointment that will provide, in general terms, an overview of your finances. Your financial situation may be resolved without filing for bankruptcy protection. If this is the case, we will explain you other options and advise you on what actions you need to take.

If filing for bankruptcy protection will be the most beneficial option for your situation, we will describe the advantages and disadvantages of each bankruptcy chapter and explain which chapter is likely to be best for your situation. We will provide you with an action plan detailing the steps you need to take and the costs involved.

We have set certain goals which include the following:

• a. We will find a strategy which is right for you and we will be successful with that strategy;
• b. You will overcome the effects of bad credit and/or bankruptcy prior to the bad credit and/or bankruptcy coming off your credit report (i.e. in approximately five years);
• c. You will insulate yourself so that you do not get back into financial trouble again;
• d. You will have a successful financial future.

These goals are achievable if you will follow the things we ask you do!
